I have been to Circle Lounge a few times now and I have always had a great time. The jazz bands they have on Tuesdays are great and the sushi is half price too. Me and my girlfriends love to go there and dance on the weekend because we can dress up and not be the only females in the club. Overall I have to say that I love the atmosphere and my friends and I always have a great time.

Pros: Atmosphere and an attractive clientel

Cons: parking

I don't normally write reviews, but after reading some of these while looking for contact info for Circle Lounge to make reservations for my friend's bday party this Sat, I figured I'd give my 2 cents worth. What's everyone crying about? I've been there 2 Sats in the last month and both times my friends and I had a great time. I had way more fun than I did 3 or 4 yrs ago when I was last there. Both Sats we had a big red booth (not a lot if your friends help pay). No problems getting in. Cover was $8 (If that's a lot of money, stay home and drink your Natty light or PBR.). Drinks are reasonable. Jager bombs were $5.50 and beer was cheap too. Of course you'll pay more for drinks with more than 1 alcohol, duh. Sushi is reasonable and good, but not the best I've had. What do you expect...IT"S A BAR! All the women were GORGEOUS. I hate to say this because there were more women than guys. There were some d bag guys there who like to act like TTAs (Timmy Tough Asses), but it's expected. For the most part everyone was cool. Never spent more than 5 min getting a drink. I guess you just have to know how to do it. I agree that guys should step up and at least offer to help the ladies to get their drinks if not buy them one. Who cares if you spend an extra $5? Oh no, she might not jump in the sack with you for buying her a drink, but you might make a cool new friend and meet her girlfriends too. Consider it an investment. My friends and I had a great time, I didn't spend a lot of money (I think $80 - $100 total for food, drinks and my share of the booth) and we're planning on having a friend's bday party there this Sat too. I guess it's just all in how you perceive things and basically your dispostion on life. LOOSEN UP! Have some fun. Just because someone scuffed your Pumas or didn't want to jump in the sack with you after buying them 1 drink doesn't make it a bad night. Find your good situations. Peace!

Pros: Gorgeous women, decent food, decent drink prices, good atmosphere.

Cons: Narrow corridor to patio, only 2 or 3 bar tenders at main bar.

Oh my GOD!!! Some of the guys and I came down on Saturday night and I swear to God it was at least 3 girls to every guy getting down and sweaty! The pheremones alone would have Mother Theresa grinding the pole! And not an ugly b*#$h in sight! I sat at the Sushi Bar and was attended to promptly and couldn't believe the sushi! It was top notch, and I go to the coast a lot on business-these guys know their stuff. This place is dope swank. The graffiti art on the patio with the the lanterns made me feel like I was in a 1980 Harlem block party. Good vibes all around. Seek out a spot early and be ready to be a true hedonist with out the pretentiousness. And check out the signature house roll: The 420 and the tako spoons are a definate turn-on.

My friends and I went to the Circle Lounge last weekend to celebrate a bachelorette party. We called ahead of time and said they put us on the list with free admission if we were there be 10:30 PM. We showed up about 10:20 and they still charged us-not a big deal, but not real impressive. At first we were having a good time, but then it just started getting way overcrowded. We literally stood at the bar for 30 minutes waiting for drinks. After 1 hour and only 2 drinks later I had an emergency phone call I had to take outside. I could barely get through the door! They had people almost barging in. It was ridiculous. After my call I tried to push my through the crowd when the bouncer told me "no re-entry." (They should probably mention that when you pay) Even when I showed him my stamp and told him I had an open tab he still wouldn't let me in. I was furious. It gets better, he let "VIP" people in right in front of me! What kind of a business does that? Bottom line: The Circle Lounge HAS gone way downhill, the bar is to overcrowded it's annoying, and it's ran poorly. It's safe to say my friends and I will never go back.

We went to the Circle Lounge this last weekend on Saturday night. We paid $300 for a VIP table which included entrance for 8 people. Interestingly enough my wife and I were the only people out of our party of 8 that they allowed in the club. They told the rest of our party they were too busy. $300 and 2 people got in? WOW!! That was just the beginning, we ordered sushi when we first walked in. Three hours later we still hadn't gotten our food or our drinks. We then decided to leave, but couldn't get our card back. For some odd reason our card was lost. To top it all off we got charged for the sushi and drinks that we never received. They must not have lost our card because somehow they still charged it. Can they really charge my card for things I never received? Also how can they charge my card when I never signed a receipt? Interesting? i think the owner MASOUD is a snake and doesn't know how to run a restaurant or a club. I know see why he has bouncers by his side all night long, because he rips people off!!!

This place has gone way downhill. I notice all the good reviews are old. For a reason. 3-4 years ago this place was nice. Good food, atmosphere. Now, it is useless. We were the only ones there. We asked if they were still serving food and they said of course (11pm). We ordered 4 drinks and some sushi. Nothing horribly complex. We waited for our drinks, got several wrong drinks, the waiter was baked out of his mind. 1.5 hours later we still had no food, the waiter kept returning to ask what we had ordered again and they were close to closing up. We finally got one of the plates of sushi we'd ordered. Two of us ate it, both of us ended up sick this morning. Horrible stomach cramps all night. When we left, we decided we weren't going to pay for the food we hadn't got, nor the plate we had as we waited so long with NO ONE else there. The waiter brought the receipt already charging the card we had given them to hold for the drinks. It is pretty standard to hold a card but not charge it - to check with the party how they want to pay. The receipt showed a bunch of stuff we hadn't ordered (drinks mainly) but it was significantly cheaper than the drinks we had and no food so we just took the receipt and left. One guy went to the bathroom and said that both faucets were broken and he had to go to the ladies to wash his hands. We found this out after we ate.... which makes me think the staff isn't washing their hands. Ask me why I got sick again... I heard the staff is mostly coked out of their heads, and from what I saw it is true. It is sad how far down this place has gone. Don't waste your time. Good sushi go to Ichiban!!!

Pros: Serves "food" late

Cons: Useless service, horrible food, dirty bathrooms, patio smells like trash

So, I like the 1/2 price deal, and love the scene. The acoustic jazz band gets 5 stars for sure. They were amazing. But the food gets a 3 (For the rolls only, the Miso was terrible), and service gets a 1. It took me over an hour to get my first sushi roll. They never refilled my drink the whole 3 hours I was there. And no, I would not have been there that long if it weren't for me having to wait for getting everything I ordered. At the very end when my waitress gave me my check she blamed it on the systems being down. I can understand a delay, but over an hour to roll up some fish is ridiculous. It was not even close to being busy. The waitress did not seem to really be with it either as she forgot my second roll. I had to go to the back and talk to her and the chef about getting it after ANOTHER hour. I couldn't really enjoy my Miso, so thankfully they took that off my tab. I really do want to give the place another chance with the saving grace of the band and 1/2 price deal, but they need to serve fresher fish, and within a decent hour.

Pros: 1/2 price Tuesdays, band

Cons: Service, Mediocre fish

This bar always has a great crowd to party with -the music can be hot- he drinks are reasonably priced and the valet is too! The only draw back it can take a while to get your drink -

Pros: Has a patio

Cons: The line to get a drink can be long
