I highly recommend Alta Pet Sitters, a licensed and insured dog sitter. They are genuine dog lovers and go the extra mile with special requests and availability on short notice. They've dog sat for my 2 boxers regularly for the past 4 years, and even watched my dog Brutis when he was at the end of his 12 year life and couldn't walk. He had to be placed in a walker and cleaned up after.....Another time Brutis had to be taken to the vet when I was in Costa Rica and Kim from Alta Pets took him to the vet for proper treatment. They continue to watch my other dog Emma, and she loves Kim. I know this because she gets more exited to see Kim than me! Brutis was the same way, haha. The woman below doesn't seem to realize that Kim is a hairdresser as well as the best dogsitter around. Some people do have to work 2 jobs! She also sounds like she has OCD and a clean freak. Loosen up lady! Your story sounds ridiculous and nothing close to that has ever happened at my house. They are genuine dog lovers and spoil your dog when you're gone. The rates are reasonable. It's somewhere around $30/day for 2 visits. When you go away, you don't need to worry that your dog(s) is in good hands. Chris

these pet sitters became UNRELIABLE after 1 yr they used a sub who was a hairdresser not pet sitter and did not tell me they brought 7 people into my home and had a get together and i found brownies under my refrigerator came home to my windows open with the A/C on broken window blinds and my furniture was re-arranged, toddlers were brought into my small townhome and my home was a mess - dirty, and my dog had several accidents my dog was highly disturbed dog /anxious

Cons: poor customer service, lied, did not deliver on promises, let strangers into my home, poor dog and home care

Alta Pet Sitters has been watching my pets for over 3 years now and they always provide dependable and professional service. My husband and I are sometimes gone for 1 or 2 weeks at a time and whenever we return our pets are happy and calm. I highly recommend them!

We've been using Alta Pet Sitters for a little more than two years. We've used them on many occassions, many times calling at the last minute. They've always been professional and reliable, and our pets love them. One thing I really like about this service is that the person assigned to our home is almost always the same. She is familiar with our pets, and communicates with us really well. I can tell she has a sincere love for animals, and really cares about our pets' comfort. I love Alta Pet Sitters!

I called last minute desperately hoping to find someone to watch over my dog. They were very accomodating and were able to meet with me and watch over my dog. Very much appreciated!

I highly recommend Alta pet sitters for in-home pet care. I have used kennels before and have found that my dogs are much happier upon my return using this home care service. Very dependable.
