Hillside Veterinary Hospital

I have taken my animals to Hillside Vet for 30 years. Dr.'s Brown and Salmen were wonderful, understanding and loved their patients. The younger vets they have working there now just aren't as intellegent or professional as the previous vets. I recently had my elderly cat in to see Dr. Schilling who seemed dingy and then saw Dr. Domen for a re-check who was rude and didn't seem very compassionate. I don't like feeling like I am bothering people when I am paying for their services. The whole staff wasn't all that friendly or helpful.

Pros: Dr. Brown is great if you can get into see her.

Cons: Other vets aren't as good or personable.

We have recently started to take our new kitten to Hillside. When we got her from the shelter she contracted a deadly virus called distemper. Dr. Shilling litterally saved my cat. After a few days my cat went from near death to almost fully recovered. She still has some recovering to do but at least we know she is going to live. This experience was so traumatizing for us, except for the fact that not only did the staff at hillside take amazing care of us, they only charged us for a fraction of the procedures. I'm so gratefull for all of the staff at Hillside.

Pros: affordable, skilled, compassionate

dear pet lovers ... i have been seeing dr. brown for over 25 years and 3 dogs. she delivered our family's first dog, and i have loved her ever since. although her schedule is more limited now, i still will see any of the vets there and plan on having many more pets to come! thank you to everyone on their staff. sincerely, crs.

Our dad has taken us to see Dr. Michelle Schilling since we were puppies. We LOVE her! She takes the best care of us and we can't wait to see her. Yes, that is right we LOVE to go to our vet. She give us treats and kisses every time she sees us. She is a great clinician and gives us the very best care ever. We are happy that she takes such good care of us and keeps us healthy. We would recommend anyone to take their pets to see her and the other wonderful vets at Hillside. Even when we get a little grumpy because we have to have a procedure Michelle knows exactly how to treat us so we forget really fast. HILLSIDE ROCKS and we would never go anywhere else!!

When I read Blackcatmeow's review of Hillside Vet Clinic I thought it was a joke. I have been a client at Hillside for over 15 years. In that time I have had the pleasure of getting to know all of the vets. I have never seen a more dedicated group of people in my life. They are in the profession because of their love for animals and their welfare. I have the utmost respect and confidence in their ability to diagnose and treat any animal. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If it wasn't for them my 14 year old dog would no longer be with me.

I have taken our family pets to Hillside Vet for the past 20 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have brought a couple of my animals back from the brink of death numerous times. I always feel that they truly care about me and my pets and do their very best in everyway they can. I would highly recommend all the veterinarians that work there. I had the privilege to have known Gale Salmon, DVM for many years before she passed away. She was a very special angel to animals and helped so many. She always put my animals first and even gave me her home phone number incase I had an emergency. I was very sadden by her death and never felt that she offered anything less then the best veterinary care to my animals. I thank everyone who works at Hillside Veterinary Hospital for their caring, warm and superb efforts to assist their clients and their pets.

This is the absolute worst hospital there is. Dr. Salmon murdered my cat. She was too busy and drunk to take care of him. The tests came back that she had overdosed my cat. I guess its Karma. Dr. Schilling is just as incompetent as she was. An uncaring bunch and completely irresponsible. If you want your pet to end up dead you take them here.

Pros: There are none

Cons: Your pet will not be taken care of at all.
