I took my 12 year old dog in on emergency-July 4th, of all days. I was greeted by some staff members right away, who immediately escorted my dog to the back. When I spoke with the Doctor, I was impressed by her care and knowledge. She explained what tests and procedures needed to be done on my dog to hopefully determine what was going on with her. Through the entire visit there, I was kept up-to-date on the status of my dog, and asked if I was alright by the staff members. I was treated with respect and my dog was treated with dignity. I highly recommend Cottownwood Animal Hospital! I am sincerely appreciative of the care my dog received, the communication and thoroughness. Thank you!
Pros: Emergency hours, Staff, Care

I have been to this place a few times and each time I go back, I always leave saying to myself 'I will never go there again' I have only ended up there in extreme emergencies where I had no other choice. It is obvious that they are in it for the money not the care of the animals. I was disgusted with my last and final experience there. I have told all of my family and friends to go anywhere but Cottonwood.
Pros: open 24 hours
Cons: everything else

I have been taking my two cats to Cottonwood for about a year now, and every time I have been there, I have recieved fantatstic service. I have seen a couple different doctors there, and they have all been great with my pets, whether I have come in for routine vaccines or for an emergency The staff has been very loving and helpful as well. No matter how busy they have been when I come in, I always feel like an important client. I would recommend Cottonwood to anybody looking for a regular vet, or emergency clinic.
Pros: friendly staff, competent doctors, 24 hour care
Cons: somtimes there is a longer wait than I would like

I took my sick Husky puppy to Cottonwood during 'emergency hours', this was at like 7:30 PM. Turns out she had parvo and was hospitalized there for a day and a half.... until she died. Long story short, i left with a $600 bill and a dead puppy i only had for two days. I felt they charged me way too much for how little they did. Although, the staff was friendly and sympathetic to my loss.
Pros: Nice staff, easy to find
Cons: EXPENSIVE!!!

I have been a client at Cottonwood Animal Hospital for over 10 years. I love my animals, and they treat my 3 dogs like they are their own pets! Recently, I have had to have all 3 of my dogs in for: dentals, tumor removals, and a ruptured ear drum. Each time I am in there, they are kind and courteous with me, gentle with my dogs, and the Doctor's always explain incredibly well the treatment lined up for my animals. I just want to thank you all for what you do and for being available 24 hrs/day-everysingle day!! I would highly recommend this animal hospital over any other in the valley!!
Pros: Open 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. ALL THE STAFF!
Cons: I can't really think of one.

Cottonwood Animal Hospital is wonderful. I have taken my pets there for 2 years. They have very skillful Doctors and Technicians. I have never had a bad exprience and they always provide excellent follow up care. Their 24 Hour Emergency Services is very convenient and the service that is provided is great. The front staff always seems very welcoming and helpful. Overall i think it is one of the best Animal Hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley.
Pros: 24 Hour Emergency Service, Professional, Caring
Cons: Rarely a Long Wait, yet worth it !!

I took my dog here for emergency, Saturday evening service because my other vet was closed. They were kind, and suggested a less expensive diagnostic test for my dog, which saved me $600 over the exploratory surgery that had been proposed by the other vet. When they found cancer, they were very caring. I don't undestand the person who complained about the $75.00 charge. My guess is that person went after regular hours (like I did) and there are slightly higher fees. Those fees seem justified to me, especially when someone is competent and caring.
Pros: Caring Vet, Offered several choices, very up front about prices

Cottonwood has always been a little out of our budget but we always end up there anyway. We have tried several other vets in the area and always end up going back to Cottonwood. So now we go to them first. Everyone there is so nice and so helpful. They are even amazing with animals they don’t treat. We have several exotic animals and they are wonderful about referring us to good people. Their sister company for exotic pets is great as well. We are very happy with them and will continue to bring our loved ones to them first.
Pros: Friendly, helpful, profesional
Cons: Expensive

I have taken my two dogs to Cottonwood Animal Hospital for 5 years. The Doctors there are always very helpful, especially Dr. Cox. He always takes the time to explain things to me and is always happy to answer all of my questions. Recently, one of my dogs became seriously ill and Dr. Cox worked hard to help her get better. At the same time he also helped me work out a treatment that I could afford. The staff all seem to work really hard making sure customers are taken care of. However, there can sometimes still be a wait.
Pros: Awesome Veterinarians, Great Service
Cons: Parking, Long Waits
