I had the need to deal with the service shop 3 times while trying to get my bike worked on. They were rude and tough to work with consistantly through the processes. I was misquoted a price for work and not given any documentation so when the final bill came it was quite a shock. Also, they had charged me for work that wasn't done and when I pointed that out I was once again treated like I was an inconvenience to them. I cannot recommend this shop.

The motto for this place is walk in, ride out. well i did that initially, but it wasn't more than 15 minutes before my battery was dead on my brand new kawi ninja 500. fortunately i was close so i went back to the store and they came out to re-charge my battery. later that night i rode my bike to work and when i went to leave, it would not start. so i had to walk home. i took the battery out of the bike and had them recharge it. they did overnight. when i came to pick it up the next morning- they said the battery was dead and they had to get me a new one.-which doesnt mean just picking one up off the shelf. they had to put the acid in it and charge it again. so now ive basically been waiting around to drive my new bike for a day and half. and the service rep tried to come down on me for being upset that i cant walk in, and ride out. he keep saying it was the manufacturer's fault. and "like havent you ever bought anything that was defective before"?!! but almost shouting at me. and he also had the nerve to tell me i offended his customers when i said "this is a f***ing pain in my a**. i was angry, i didn't direct it towards anyone. and hey buddy, i'm a customer too! good service would have been to check the battery first thing in the morning and recognize if anything else had to be done. they knew i was coming in early the next morning. to simplify - the ordeal is not really their fault, but talk about poor customer service. Anyone has reason to be upset when something brand new they buy doesn't work properly. the sales department is nice, but the service people did not respect me.

Pros: good financing

Cons: poor customer service

i recently took my atv into plaza cycle service and was greeted with friendly customer service and guys who communicated what was wrong with my atv very clearly. they helped me to understand what needed to be done to get it working right which i truly appriciated, being a divorced woman trying to get her sons atv fixed i really thought they went the extra mile for me when they loaded it onto my trailor and tied it down too. i will be taking all my machines to plaza cycle in the future

Pros: very friendly service, and courtous employees

Cons: none

II took my motorcycle to this so call shop to have new jets installed and to correct electrical problems in the charging system. From the get go they told me that it will be two weeks before they can actually start work on my motorcycle. Two weeks of having the bike and do nothing on it (that should have been a warning). OK, after the two weeks they come with an estimate that run to $1300.00 to have the charging system fix and new jets installed in order to prevent the pipes to change color. (turn blue or yellow) I have a nice set of vance & hines installed and did not want to ruin them. Any way these so called “pros” needed another two weeks to fix the bike. After all this time I finally got the motorcycle back and it is still popping and splattering from un-proper jetting. I took it back and these smart people said that this is normal. I go for a couple weekend rides and now the pipes are turning yellow. By now I'm really mad at these people and after talking to them over the phone they agree to re-check the bike again. I get there the next day and now they are sticking to their version that this is normal and the yellowing of the pipes may be the material itself as if vance & hines does not know what they are doing. The thing that is more upsetting is the fact that these people did not even want to see the bike only after my persistence they agree to see it but at the end they said that there is nothing that they can do. Conclusion if you want to waste your money with a bunch of uneducated and rude people then Plaza Cycles in West Valley, UT is the place to go. Additionally you could experience the worst customer service ever where the will talk down to you and think that you are as dumb as they are. Now all this is not free since they have the higher prices in Salt Lake City.

Pros: good selection

Cons: poor customer service, these people are there only to make money
